Ruleshaker's CM125 "Waterproof"



The Honda CM125 is a small parallel twin cylinder air-cooled OHC cruiser bike made by Honda from 1982 to 1986. It had a top speed just over 100km/h and its original design tried to replicate the cruiser styling of HD. The stock model had high handlebars, megaphone silencers, teardrop-shaped gas tank and stepped seat. Several details were chrome-plated but corrosion seemed to be a recurring problem for this bike.  In Biarritz (Basque Countries, France) Iban Domingo, a.k.a the Ruleshaker, turned this anonymous and simple model into an attractive street tracker, removed all the chrome components and in order to test the reliability of his built, decided to perform a very choreographic rust resistance test… 

La Honda CM125 è una piccola cruiser bicilindrica frontemarcia, camme in testa, prodotta dalla Honda dal 1982 al 1986. Aveva una velocità massima poco oltre i 100 km/h ed il suo design originale cercava di replicare lo stile cruiser delle HD. Il modello di serie aveva manubrio alto, silenziatori a megafono, serbatoio a goccia e sella su due livelli. Molti dettagli erano cromati, ma la corrosione pare fosse un problema ricorrente per questa moto. A Biarritz (Paesi Baschi, Fancia), Iban Domingo, alias Ruleshaker, ha trasformato questo anonimo e semplice modello in un attraente street tracker, ha rimosso tutte le componenti cromate e al fine di testare l'affidabilità della sua realizzazione, ha deciso di effettuare un test di resistenza alla ruggine davvero molto coreografico...
